E-Levy withdrawn from parliament by Finance Minister
The Deputy Majority Leader has announced that Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta will withdraw the contentious Electronic Transactions Levy (E-levy) from Parliament and reintroduce it later.

According to Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the government will repeal the contentious levy on Tuesday, February 15.
The Effutu MP stated in his business statement for Parliament next week that the e-levy will be reintroduced on Friday, February 18 at a revised percentage of 1.5.
